RS: The two letters that transformed the Porsche 911. Launched for the 1973 model year, the RS was built with racing in mind: the RS stood for Rennsport (Race Sport in German). In order to qualify the car in the GT category of motor racing, 500 road going production RS models had to be manufactured. Of course, the better the street car, the better the race car. So Porsche gave the RS a powerful 2.7 liter engine, better brakes and bulging fenders to enclose wider wheels. The Hunziker RS collection pays homage to this homologation special. This collection combines some classic Hunziker RS paintings with iconic RS styling cues to create products that reverberate everything the RS model stood for: Speed, style and function.
