Valentino Rossi was head and shoulders above the rest of the field throughout the 2015 season and came to the penultimate round in Malaysia 11 points ahead of the nearest rival, Spain's Jorge Lorenzo, and looking as the favorite to win his 10th World Title Crown.

An unfortantate clash with Spain's Marc Marquez saw Rossi forced to start the season finale in Valencia from the rear of the grid, and as a result lost the Championship to Jorge Lorenzo by 5 points. He may have been prevented from becoming the 2015 MOTO GP Champion but he will always be Champion in our Hearts.
